Institutional grade crypto market data provider Brave New Coin has announced a strategic partnership with Band Protocol, a decentralized data oracle network. As per a tweet on Monday, the partnership will enable Brave New Coin to bring enterprise-grade price data for more than 1,500 cryptocurrencies on Band Protocol’s decentralized oracle network.

Brave New Coin is one of the leading data & research companies providing enterprise-grade digital asset data solutions to crypto-blockchain companies. In the official statement on Medium, Brave new Coin CEO, Fran Strajnar said that the company, backed by Techemy Ltd, is one of the early adopters of decentralized finance protocols and launched its first digital asset data oracle for blockchain networks in 2016. Fran also said that the partnership with Band Protocol would further their vision of being the leading provider of scalable, non-custodial, and decentralized data solutions, making data analysis for blockchain developers for trading and investment a seamless effort.
Band Protocol is one of the biggest cross-chain data oracle networks in the crypto-blockchain industry, connecting real-world data and API with smart contracts. Commenting on the integration with Brave New Coin, Band Protocol CEO Soravis Srinawakoon said that the collaboration would be instrumental in for Band’s success. Soravis further said that the integration would help them provide commercial data solutions, enabling blockchain networks to interact with external data sources while also ensuring data privacy and intellectual property protection.
In the Twitter thread, Band Protocol stated that Brave New Coin’s Weighted Average Spot Price has been integrated with all of its blockchain platforms. This, it said, will provide a secure and fair price for crypto assets on a real-time basis by aggregating data from top crypto exchanges across the globe.
